I hope you all are enjoying the last days of summer.  We've been very lucky
here in Nebraska; this summer wasn't nearly as hot as last summer.  We've
been blessed with long stretches of cooler days.  It makes being pregnant
during the summer more bearable.

Little Em is coming along just fine.  It could be any day now that she
decides she to enter the world and meet everyone.  I keep talking to her and
telling her she should come on out...she doesn't know what she's missing.

At my last doctors appointment I saw another intern.  He was really good.  I
went over my birth plan with him and he was able to answer all of my
questions.

The only bad side effects I've been having are sleeping fitfully and my
ankles have been swelling pretty bad.  I can still get my boots on to go to
work though.  They shrink overnight but I think they look really gross and
they make me not want to go out in public.

This weekend we're trying to get my bathroom finished.  I'll have to attach
some before and after photos once we get it completed...you'll be amazed at
the difference.  Those of you that have seen it in person will really be
impressed.  This past Monday we had our replacement windows installed.  I
can't tell you what a world of difference they make.  I can see out of them
clearly and they tilt in so you can clean both sides.  They're double paned
and I love them.  I decided to keep the orginal windows...which are 100
years old.  I'll probably do something crafty and try to sell them.

That's all the news for now folks...we're just playing the waiting game and
trying to keep busy until Little Em makes her debut.
