Dear Family and Friends,

Life is going smoothly here in Omaha, Nebraska.  I'll just catch you up on
few things and then you can check out the photos on the web address at the
end of this email.

I am getting bigger.  That's to be expected when you're over six months
pregnant.  I haven't had any problems thus far.  I have prenatal appointments
every two weeks now until the last month and then every week until Emily is
born.  She's a very lively baby.  She has stronger movements in the morning
after I get to work...she almost knocked a jar of peanuts out of my hand that
I had resting on my "shelf."  The evenings are pretty wild too.  I do my kick
counts (supposed to count 10 baby movements in a 2 hour period) every evening
at about 8:30 and it takes about 10 or 15 minutes to get to 10.  She's had
the hiccups a few times too.  Being pregnant has been a pleasure so far.

Two of my friends from work threw me a baby shower while my Aunt and Uncle
were here on a visit.  Emily is going to look so cute in all her little
outfits.  Another friend is coming out and maybe we'll get around to
finishing up the painting in her room.  We thought we might have a roof leak
so we postponed the project, but now John seems to think we're in the
clear...we'll see.

Work is going okay for both John and I.  The summer months have been kind
here in Omaha.  We haven't had too many hot days.

I hope you all are enjoying the summer and staying cool.  Take care of
